Do you ever get the feeling that your final accountability will place extra emphasis on whatever act you are engaged in moments before you die? Before I became a believer, I often sensed that my final deeds would count most. Today, I believe that less, since my judgment was already settled long ago at the cross. However, my mind still has me imagine scenarios of my last moments. Weird?
Tomorrow, our worship team is up, and I count it a blessing to get to praise on the day of Pentecost. I happened to stumble upon this article tonight, wherein the author posits his theory that the rapture could happen on Pentecost. It brought to mind an image of being raptured right out of the drum throne, instantly in front of HIS throne. Whew! Lord, no matter where and when You might come for us, may you find us serving and worshiping You. Maranatha.
